With all the defensive needs that the Rams have, many would not have predicted that the first FA signing would be a WR. I know many more were shocked when they saw the money invested in Drew Bennett.

Unfortunately, Isaac Bruce will not be able to play forever. That being said I don’t see the end coming any time soon, thankfully.

Bennett is a few months younger than Curtis and certainly has proven to be at the very least a legit #2 WR. In a three WR set Bennett certainly presents a mismatch since most 3rd CB’s tend to be fast but on the smaller side.

I really like the way this team is shaping up.

Lastly I must give my appreciation to Adam Timmerman who was released for his many years of service to the team and community.
