Keep Your Hands Off That Panic Button!!

We are all likely tempted to have an "itchy finger" right now while looking for a panic button to push, but hold on.
Though I just turned off a game where the Cardinals seemed to be hanging with the Chargers, lets all take a deep breath and repeat "it's only preseason, it's only preseason, it's only preseason".
I don't think any of us need to worry about the offense once the bell rings, it's that defense and special teams that will potentially haunt us. Though special teams in particular, and Ron Bartell in the secondary seem to be taking their lumps at present, it's better for that to show in August than when the games start counting.
Jim Haslett and the special teams coach has to do some serious coaching prior to opening day, and I think they will.
As Eliasdad pointed out last week in his article, Coach Linehan is in the process of bringing in "tough football guys" and they'll be there slugging it out when the games count.
