That even begin to express the utter numbness and sheer shock that this season has most Rams fans in.
By the end of Sunday's game there basically were just 2 regular offensive starters left on the field...Torry Holt and Adam Goldberg. So before you go shouting at the top of your lungs about how bad your team sucks, ask yourself this question.
How the hell can they win when they don't have the bodies to make a starting lineup? This team has more injuries in just 4 weeks than any team has had in NFL history, yet fans are calling for everyone's heads all the way down to the defenseless waterboy.
Maybe you can't blame all of the 4 losses on the injuries but you can pretty much put about 80% of it on it. The rest can probably be attributed to poor coaching, poor decision making and not executing properly.
If you want to jump of the boat, go for it...but now is the time this completely devasted team needs their fans. Right NOW! Not when they're healthy and firing on all cylanders and winning, well that's good too, but it's easy to back them then, but when they are so down that there's not enough unwounded to care for the wounded is the time they need to know that someone is there to help bandage the wounds.
The team needs someone to man the life boats and life preservers and pull them in from the cold waters of the NFL because the sharks are circling and before you know it, there won't be enough bodies to put out on the field legally.
