Can't Win For Losin'

But that aside, we finally get the offense ticking to only result in side effects you usually get from a tequila all-nighter:
*Frerotte throws three TD’s but also three picks, one returned for a backbreaking TD after a 36 yard punt return by Dante Hall gives the Rams huge momentum.
*We finally get a 100 yard rushing effort for the season that entails a per carry average of at least five yards (Leonard had 102 yards on 18 carries) but no TD’s out of any of those carries.
*Fakhir Brown comes back from his suspension to snag two INT’s - the first one resulting in only a FG, and the second coming in the end zone to stop Arizona from scoring only to see the Rams have to punt four plays later.
*Richie “Not So” Incognito starts at OT only to supply a lifetime of bone-headed moves, one coming on a 15 yard PF after the Rams scored which made Wilkins have to kick off from the 20.
*The Defense forces a fumble by the Edge only to result in a blown call giving Arizona its first unwarranted TD. Of course the fact that there were four Rams surrounding the loose ball who let Arizona get it anyway can’t go without mentioning. "You have to make your own breaks," Linehan said. "You can't leave anything to chance. In that case, you can't allow the (opponent) to get down there and leave anything for judgment."
*The Defense blocks a FG attempt by Rackers only to punt it back four plays later. Well, actually it was five plays thanks to another momentum killing false start on the first play.
*The Defense stops Kurt’s first half one-minute drill only to have the officials buy into Arizona’s version of the last second goal line play, giving them another, untimed down that leads to the Cardinals other unwarranted TD.
And that’s enough reliving of the nightmare that is known as week 5. After what the Cowboys did to the Bills tonight I don’t think there is any way in hell that the Rams are going to win a single game this year. It just appears that no matter what the Rams do, they will always be trumped. The top running backs in the league are all struggling, massive injuries abound throughout the NFL affecting every team, and the Arizona Cardinals lead the NFC West at 3-2. There are strange forces at work this year, and they seem to be conspiring against the Rams among others. Sure, the games will be exciting and all but at this point I would rather watch a boring-ass last second 3-0 overtime Rams victory than a 34-31 nail biting thrilling loss.
So bring on the Ravens and LET’S GET READY FOR WEEK 6. YEAH BABY, YEAH!
GO RAMS!!!
