Either Fakir Brown is a little craftier of a veteran than any of us knew, or he finally learned to share.
Whatever the details of the real story are, and we will probably never know, everyone in Ram-Nation can stop worrying about what to do about the gaping hole in the starting Cornerback slot on the depth chart for 2008.
We’ll just pretend nothing ever happened.
Don’t you just love springtime? No one’s getting hurt, everyone’s talking crap, and we’re tied for first place again with ironically the same record we had last time we were tied for first.
But Anthony Becht is in the house this time, and Marc Bulger is all smiles. Not only is Becht six and a half feet tall, and one of the best blocking tight-ends in the league, but also Bulger’s old teammate from West Virginia.
Looks like someone’s going to be hooking up.
With only 11 days left until the draft, I can honestly say I don’t care which one of the big four the Rams draft, but I’m kind of pulling for Jake Long. You can never have too much offensive-line power, as the Rams well know. But Jakey-baby would put to rest any lingering doubt that the Rams offense will be attacking defensive lines like they raped children.
Now that’s good television.
