Optimistic

I have always been an optimist this time of the year, but I may be swinging to the other side soon. The Rams for a couple of years now lack an identity. Back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s the Rams exploded on offense and teams usually would have to play catch up or match TD’s to stay in games.
These days all three phases of this team is mediocre at best. I think that we are not far away from a total makeover, including a new owner, GM, and head coach.
I listened to an interesting interview with former Packer, and Falcon Eugene Robinson. He was asked about the difference between physical and non physical training camps, and in season practices. He went on to say that at this level guys know how to tackle it is simply wanting to. He used the example of watching a Ray Lewis penetrate a hole and hit a RB as hard as he can sending a statement. He said you can tell immediately what guys are willing to give their all and smack someone.
Next time you watch the Rams play count how many guys are playing like that. That may be a good indication if everyone’s on board with this staff.
Go Rams!
