Is It Really Over...Stupid Rams Decisions?

I was all gung ho for Spags the minute he took the reigns and how assertive he was in stepping right in
and taking over the team by cleaning out the old coaching closets and bringing in a new staff to go with the
supposedly revamped front office.
After the staff is in place it's off to the races to try and start improving that defense and shoring up the offensive
line. OK, can't say I complained there. Job well done. Unfortunately Pace's yearly injuries were his demise on the team
and can understand this cut. Which leads me to believe they're going for an OT in the draft.
Problem though. While our defensive minded HC is busying worry about the defense he seems to not put much into
the offense. Who are we bringing in to build around Jackson? Or is Spags not concerned about passing, we'll just
run the ball every down?
So some fans agree with the Torry cut, while others don't and it's the opinion of this writer that this was yet another
bonehead mistake by the Rams front office, despite the fact it's a new cast of charcters.
Say what you will about him losing a step, blah, blah, blah. That wasn't his problem. Look at the $65 million dollar
lump of coal that was throwing to him or not throwing to him. We pay $65 million dollars to a guy that had one of the
worst QB ratings in the NFL for two years! Yet they release Holt and even are trying to get another lemon of a QB in
Gus Frerotte. Hello?!! And what, you expect the kid Avery to run the wide receiving show with that?
How smart is it to leave the team without veteran guidance at WR position? Will the team not only be haunted by this
decision, but will they be forced to have it rubbed in their faces twice a season should Torry join Bruce in San Francisco?!
Say what you want about moving forward and get to know the new Rams. Well, they scare me because there's well not much
there especially on offense to get to know.
Hey Jackson, sure hope you're ready to touch the ball about 50 times a game cause they're going to need someone to play
on offense.
Go Rams!
