Patience, Patience, and More Patience

That's what is going to be needed from all Rams fans. There's no need to get impatient with the new staff
and expect miracles in their first season as the new coaching staff. I'm not saying that it can't happen, but it's not
probable. It's more logical to have the mindset that there will be improvements this season but not a complete
overnight turnaround.
As fans, we need to take a step back and look at what happened to this team. It's demise was not one that happened overnight.
It was a long process of poor decision making, poor coaching and poor player performances. So if a teams down hill
spiral takes years to accomplish, we need to understand it will take years to repair
A good example of having to rebuild a team after it's down hill spiral would be what Phil Jackson of the newly
crowned NBA Champion LA Lakers. The Lakers rose to greatness under Jackson with three titles in a row but through the loss of
Jackson, free agency, you know the same old same old that happens to all teams, the Lakers began to decline...until
the return of Jackson, some key free agency pickups, a good draft and Jackson within 2 short years had them back
in the playoffs and the third year winning it all.
So if one of the greatest coaches of all time in any sport has to take a few years to rebuild a franchise, we need
to allow Spags the same kind of room to rebuild the Rams.
Go Rams!
