This Season And Beyond

The Rams for years have lacked leadership and know-how in the front office. With the mass exodus of longtime employees, and the death of the Rams owner, things have drastically changed for the team.
General Manager, Pro personnel, scouting, and coaches have all been replaced by new folks with proven NFL pedigree. Head Coach from the NY Giants, Offensive Coordinator from Philadelphia, defensive coordinator from Carolina, and a General Manager from Atlanta. All those teams are known for hard nosed defenses and punishing running games.
The pieces are in place but players win games, and that is still an issue with the Rams. The Rams need all those new folks to make the right decisions when it comes to acquiring players. Too many years the Rams have spent money on free agent flops, unproductive rookies, and resigned players just to see them get injured or not play up to their previous standards.
The Rams also have spent far too many years not developing talent. Teams that develop players have cap room, since they don’t need to look to free agency to plug a huge hole, and spend tons of money.
I hope the Rams can turn this around, but we all need to be patient.
Go Rams!
