The Michael Vick Project

Tonight (Tuesday) Michael Vick takes one more step in his "coming clean" initiative by means of his new reality TV show
"The Michael Vick Project" on BETHD at 7:00pm. While we will never forget what he did and our feelings of hatred towards dog
violence remain strong, it is nice to see that he is continuing on his road of image rehabilitation. He is doing this the right way,
and by talking about it so much it is now diffused and no longer so appalling.
Vick has allowed himself to become an open book, something that Tiger Woods probably will never do. He has lots of advisers,
a whole team one of whom is Tony Dungy, and they have told him to come so clean that now I for one am tired of hearing about it.
His new reality show will hopefully be the last we will have to hear of this crime in the mainstream, and if he does come to
St. Louis I really hope that the media and the City Folk and the people of Rams Nation let it go.
He treated himself flawlessly in Philly, accepting his role with a gracious humility that we don't see in athletes nowadays.
As a person he has become a model citizen as much as he was a deserving prisoner two years ago, but as a player he still leaves
much to be desired. As a human being I would love to see him come to the Rams and help solidify a team of young egos, but as
a player I don't want him anywhere near Rams Park. If he does come to St. Louis the Michael Vick Project will become a season
long TV show, on every Sunday at 10:00 PST. And that is one project I don't want to watch.
GO RAMS!
